Emergency actions
ALH's actions commit to long-term, lasting and stable support for diverse projects of local populations. However, sometimes, during a trip, funds are released urgently for a specific necessary action.

Renewal of the stock of medicines at the Kathmandu dispensary
During our trip to Kathmandu, we checked in with Dr. Sonam at the Kathlandu dipensary, has welcomed all patients since its inceptiondespite their financial means and cultural heritage. He ofen travels to remote villages in the Himalayas providing preventive health care to disadvantaged populations. This traditional generous doctor, does not count his hours, nor the energy spent to help others, this is why ALH has decided to continue to funds its medical inventory for the benefit of all sentient beings..
April 2019:
A water filter for drinking water and bathroom repair for the Rewalsar monastery
During a trip to India, ALH volunteers had met Negi at the Rewalsar monastery, on the shores of Lake Tso Pema. This monastery welcomes underprivilegedoften children offering them room and board and the possibility of studying. During our stay, we learned that the resident monks and the children faced months without filtered drinking water. They could not pay to repair a faulty water filter and thus had to buy plastic non-recycle bottles for driking water. A donation also helped to repair a badly needed bathroom.
