Schoolchildren in Kathmandu (Nepal)

The earthquake of April 25, 2015 with a magnitude of 7.9 is remembered. It caused thousands of victims and extensive material damage. Reconstruction is extremely long, and many children are still waiting to go back to school. The damage is still clearly visible on site, especially since earthquakes still raged in 2020.

ALH wishes to help some of these young students

to find their way back to school.

Government schools in Nepal are underfunded due to the country's very low GDP. The programs cannot provide students with the minimum to ensure them a suitable professional future.

The only alternative is to go to private school ; however, they are only only accessible to families who have sufficient means.

Thanks to donations, some underprivileged children may attend these primary private schools wich offers a quality education, a steppingstone for a better future.

These schoolchildren, aware of the opportunity offered to them, have an astonishing maturity. They are diligent, serious and even very young, they organize their schedule on their own to balance homework, games and family obligations.

Regular donations are essential support for the education of these children, which gives them the means to build with confidence the future to which they aspire.

Thanks to you, these projects are supported on a long-term basis.

Private schools offer a complete program that meets the needs of a population that wants to support itself and develop.

It teaches Nepali, English, physical and chemical sciences, mathematics, history, geography, hygiene, health, sports and sometimes art.

Despite the difficult linving conditions, it does not affect the motivation of the children.

We hope to be able to support these children through higher education to eran diplomas so that they may realize their career goals.
